I strive to capture children as they are. Forgoing forced smiles and poses; I embrace the natural smiles and expressions that your child gives.

My goal with your personalized photo sessions is quite different.  My style is to listen to you and work to fulfill your ideas.  My aim is to make each session unique to you.

A typical session will last one to two hours, with added breaks as needed. As a mother myself, I know that babies and small children tire easily and are more comfortable in their home environments. I understand this, and will always work around your family’s schedule.

My aim is for everyone to feel comfortable so that sessions are not just a forced ‘must do’ with a camera – they’re memorable events.  I aim to bring out some of those magical personalities and capture the little smiles and faces that you know and love.

My hope is that looking at the image you will remember the experience of a custom photographer and the personal attention to you and your child’s needs. I want you to cherish the beauty and quality of the images and the memories of your child that will last a lifetime.

What to wear? I believe that if you are comfortable in what you are wearing you will be more relaxed, and therefore, we will be able to capture moments that are truly real. If you want to play dress-up, that is fine too! I’d love to have a little tea party, or befriend a princess, or meet an adorable cowboy. It is up to you how you personalized your photosession can be.

For a child session: Solid, bright colored clothes works best. If you need any help deciding what to wear, bring a few sets of clothes and I’ll be happy to help you decide what looks best.

For a newborn session: A plain diaper or your sweet one’s birthday suit is best to show off all of those tiny fingers and toes.

What to bring: Bring toys that your kids love, or a hobby they enjoy, or nothing at all!! I will bring along some toys and props, in case they are needed.
